Michelle Goodsir, managing director at K2 Intelligence, will participate in the panel discussion “Fighting Financial Crime and Having a Seat at the Table: The Women’s Leadership Perspective” as part of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) moneylaundering.com 24th Annual International AML and Financial Crime Conference. The four-person panel will assess key barriers to women’s advancement in the financial and government sectors. It will also discuss what it takes to be a strategic leader in the risk space to fight financial crime effectively, how women can communicate their value, and how women can elevate their careers by finding sponsorship opportunities at work and in the industry.
The conference aims to examine the rapid transformation in the worlds of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance, including new and complex regulations, technological disruptions such as artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies, and malicious threats including cyber crime and data breaches. Participants will share insights on these issues while outlining strategies for putting that knowledge to practical use in the ongoing fight against financial crime.
