Himamauli Das is a senior vice president, where he handles all legal matters, including coordinating and leading the development of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and investments, and supports the development and work in the FinTech, CyberFin, and financial inclusion fields. In addition to these responsibilities, Him assists with and support all aspects of K2 Intelligence Financial Integrity Network’s work, such as participation in risk assessments, training, the design and development of client deliverables, and the development and review of new services, products, platforms, and technologies.
Him has served as a senior policy official and an international lawyer with the White House, the National Security Council and National Economic Council, and the Departments of State and Treasury. He has more than 15 years of experience in spearheading policy development and negotiations on topics in international economic policy such as sanctions, export control, financial regulation, national security, trade, foreign investment and inward investment regimes such as the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), export promotion, climate, and international institutions.
Him received a J.D. and M.P.P. from the University of California at Berkeley, an M.Sc. from the University of Colorado at Boulder in astrophysics, planetary, and atmospheric sciences, and a B.S. in physics from the University of California at Berkeley. He clerked for Chief Judge Sidney Thomas on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Chief Judge Marilyn Hall Patel on U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. He has received the Distinguished Service Award for his contributions to the work of the Department of the Treasury and has garnered numerous other accolades.
