On the VICE News talk show “The Business of Life” (Viceland, 14 May 2017), Austin Berglas discusses cybersecurity and its real-life implications with a panel of experts, commenting on personal and national security online.
According to Austin, “One of the things the government does is a kind of Armageddon scenario, war game out how they would respond to a targeted attack, almost three-pronged: taking out critical infrastructure, financial—maybe Nasdaq or the stock exchange, taking down public transportation—knocking out the MTA, and at the same time, taking out the ConEd electric grid. . . . These situations are looked at because they’re real.”
